Located in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, JWR’s roots date back to 1972, when Jim’s Welding & Repair began as a small welding and repair shop. For more than 50 years, JWR has continued to grow, evolve, and expand its capabilities while staying true to the core values that built the company. What started as a welding and repair shop has grown into a diverse operation serving the waste and recycling industry. Over the years, JWR expanded its expertise into sandblasting, painting, truck and hoist repair, container repair, and specialized waste and recycling equipment. Each step in our growth has been driven by a commitment to solving customer challenges and providing dependable, practical solutions.
In 2020, JWR expanded its capabilities with the opening of the JWR Refuse Truck Center. The Truck Center allows us to sell, upfit, service, and repair roll-off hoists and mobile refuse equipment, providing customers with comprehensive support throughout the life of their equipment. In 2023, JWR added another key capability with the opening of our full-service cylinder rebuild and machine shop. This expansion further strengthened our ability to provide in-house expertise, quality workmanship, and responsive service to our customers.
